Admission Path
There are 2 types of Chemistry Education Department students, namely the Regular Class and the RKBI or Rintisan Kampus Bertaraf International (International Standard Campus Start-up) Class. The Regular Class is a student class where learning is prioritized in 1 language, namely Indonesian, but it is possible that learning is also carried out using English. Meanwhile, the RKBI class is a class for Chemistry students where learning uses two languages, namely Indonesian and English, where English is preferred. The selection of regular student admissions is carried out through two channels, namely the PMJK or Penerimaan Mahasiswa Baru Jalur Khusus (Special Path Admissions) route and the SNMPTN or Seleksi Nasional Masuk Perguruan Tinggi Negeri (State University National Entrance Exam) route. The PMJK pathway is an admissions route that uses achievements and report cards achieved at the high school level. While the SNMPTN pathway is a national route that uses a Basic ability test (Basic Mathematics, Indonesian, and English) and a Science Ability Test (Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, Physics, and Integrated Science).
Chemistry Education Department students come from various regions spread over 8 regencies and 1 municipality in the province of Bali, as well as from other islands such as Java and Lombok. Chemistry students’ academic abilities are also moderate, and they often achieve achievements at the institutional and national levels, especially in the scientific field.
