The curriculum of the Chemistry Education Study Program is prepared in accordance with the vision and mission of the department, which have been formulated in the form of SKL, or Standar Kompetensi Lulusan (Graduate Competency Standards). The preparation of the Department of Chemistry Education curriculum refers to the National Education System Law, the National Education Standards Regulation, the Teacher and Lecturer Law, and the SKPG, or Standar Kompetensi Guru Pemula (Beginner Teacher Competency Standard). The Department of Chemistry Education Curriculum is constantly reviewed and updated. This is done by looking at how the laws change and affect the field’s needs. Lastly, the curriculum was refocused and reorganized from 2012 to 2016, which helped improve academic and professional skills as well as personal attitudes.
